Toy Distribution
Every year, Welcome Hall Mission distributes thousands of toys to children from underprivileged families at Christmas.
Employees and volunteers are transforming our facilities to make this a festive holiday event filled with live music, fun activities and performances for children of all ages! This toy distribution, which we've entitled Christmas for All!, is an opportunity to offer some joy and hope to children who might otherwise not receive any toys for Christmas. It's also our way of sheltering them from the reality of their situation.
As families enter the building, they are serenaded by a choir singing Christmas carols. Before they receive their toys, children decorate gingerbread cookies and ornaments, play games, enjoy shows and get to sit on Santa's lap!
Thanks to the generosity of individuals and companies who have children's well-being at heart, we are able to provide each child with at least 2 new toys. Welcome Hall Mission is honoured to count Schleich Canada, Îlot 307, Jouets Pour Kids, MEGA Brands, and Hasbro as major partners this year.
