Children's Services

Community Involvement

Developed in collaboration with community workers or other organizations, these programs are designed to meet specific needs in certain environments. They are primarily intended for 5 to 12 year old children.

After-School Programs

Cooking classes, dance lessons and sports activities are the means used to help these children develop new abilities, self-esteem, communication skills and teamwork toward conflict resolution, etc...

Day Camp Programs

Organized activities over a period of 7 weeks in the South-West borough are designed to improve self-esteem, conflict resolution and communication skills as well as develop a sense of teamwork. The children we aim to reach are often left on their own during the summer months. The goal is to provide a safe place for children to have fun and play with proper supervision.

Assistance and Prevention

Newcomers Support Program

Families that have recently settled in Canada receive personal visits and follow-up guidance tailored to their needs. The goal is to facilitate the social integration of immigrant parents and support them in their efforts by offering a listening ear, information and personal support.

Prevention Program

Sports are the means by which to reach at-risk youth aged 12 to 16, many from immigrant families, with behavioural problems and disadvantaged. The goal is for these youth to develop talents and abilities that will help them evolve and flourish in different areas of their lives.
