At 23 years old, Liana Lessard is the co-owner and operator of Sweet Lee's Rustic Bakery in St-Henri which opened its doors on September 6th.
With the help of her entrepreneurial brother and culinary talents of her inspirational mother, “Sweet Lee” is already giving back!
Welcome Hall Mission has not only received baked donations, but is the beneficiary of Sweet Lee's Christmas food drive and Tasting Menu event!
About Sweet Lee's
Working as a chef at a nearby restaurant, Liana saw a demand for homemade baked goods. She began to take individual orders and offer catering services. Over the next two years, she built a following through public markets and events and was able to realize her dream of opening her own bakery. It also made her happy to know she was adding something good to the neighbourhood she'd come to love so much. Sweet Lee's offers baked goods, preserves, soups, sandwiches and catering.
