Who We Are
More than a century of helping those in need
Poverty, solitude and despair exist everywhere in Montreal, whether we see it or not. The Welcome Hall Mission team is working hard to overcome these problems. Every day of the year we offer help, hope and compassion to thousands of people in need.
Each day of the year, we help thousands of people through gestures that foster hope and compassion.
The lack of food, vagrancy, dependencies and social exclusion can strike families and individuals of all origins, social classes and beliefs. Welcome Hall Mission reaches out to the homeless, to needy families, new immigrants, street youth, and children. We help in different ways: by providing shelter, food, rehabilitation and social reinsertion programs, personal counseling services, and a caring listening ear. Different actions with a common goal: to break the cycle of poverty and build a better life. Everyone deserves a second chance at life, and hope for a brighter future!
