Summer Camps
Again this year, Children's Services is offering children from underprivileged families the opportunity to escape the city's sometimes harsh realities and enjoy a week at a Mission subsidized camp.
Entertainment in the Parks
Throughout the summer months, Club de l'Arche turns its activities toward entertaining children in public parks around Montreal. These are festive events where the focus remains on education and prevention.
Block Parties
This summer, Club de l'Arche will also be visiting various rent-controlled complexes around Montreal. This is part of an effort to improve the quality of life for children who may be struggling with social exclusion and developing their self-esteem and self-worth.
Over a period of 8 weeks, the animators will guide them as they create their own puppets and puppet shows. At the end of the session, the children will perform their puppet shows for their neighbours at a block party hosted in partnership with local organizations and community workers.
