Develop the tools you need to re-enter the workforce with 20 hours/week of skills training, one-on-one support, and life-skills workshops.

Who is eligible?
To qualify for the program, participants must:
> Be a welfare beneficiary
> Have a birth certificate or permanent residency
> Be 18 years of age or older
> Be referred by an Emploi-Québec agent

Health Services

Welcome Hall Mission clients have access to medical consultation with an on-site nurse, provided in partnership with CIUSSS Centre-Sud de l’Île de Montréal. Furthermore, our team is available to offer counselling and guidance for mental health services. The Health Services team assists clients in accessing navigational services available in the public health system while providing the tools they need to benefit from these resources.

Our emergency shelter guests, those participating in our reintegration services, and at-risk youth all benefit from healthy and nutritious meals, carefully prepared by our cooking teams. Experienced intervention workers are present at every meal time to advise and help you with anything you may require.

Family camps are a great experience for every member of the family, creating lasting memories. Each year, Welcome Hall Mission makes the dream of a getaway a reality for many families by offering them an outdoor camp experience.

To participate you must be:  Family members of Marchés Bon Accueil clients

Period: Between the months of June and August

Referral Service

Our referral service connects anyone, living in an emergency situation or needing a specialized intervention, to a targeted resource.

We can help you if you are:

  • Looking for information on health and social services in Quebec
  • Seeking assistance for psychosocial help
  • Seeking assistance with an immigration or housing process
  • A person aged 55 + wishing to obtain assistance
  • A person seeking assistance with budget planning / career guidance

Family Support Service

Our family support service helps parents with children in a welcome class or in a regular class at primary level. In both cases, this support is offered in a manner adapted to the realities and daily responsibilities of the parent.

We can help you if you:

  • Want to help your child improve in their academic results
  • Want to help your child to prepare well for assessments (dictation, exams, tests)
  • Want to help your child enrolled in a welcome class

Annual Events

Rentrée la tête haute (Back to School Event)

In preparation for the start of the school year,Welcome Hall Mission distributes school supplies to thousands of children whose families who are members of Marché Bon Accueil. Music, fun, food and activities are on the menu and make this event a memorable time for children! Each participant receives a new school bag filled with all necessary school materials.

Target audience: Family members with children from kindergarten to secondary 5

Noël pour tous (Christmas Gift Event)

Every year before Christmas, Welcome Hall Mission distributes thousands of Christmas gifts to children whose families who are members of Marché Bon Accueil.

Target audience: Members with children aged 5 to 12.
